The "IN LINE" type applies up to 6 parallel lines from a standard nozzle. The lines need not be equally spaced. The spacing of the lines when they reach the work is determined by the height of the gun nozzle, and the angles of the drilled holes. Note that you can order dome nozzles with almost any set of angles to suit your needs, and are not confined to listed stock sizes. Ask for our help in determining hole angles for your exact needs.
The "RADIAL" type applies a circular pattern of dots onto work that is stationary, and again a selection of angles, and gun heights determine the size of the pattern.
Stainless Steel is generally used with cold adhesives and brass with hot melts.

This actual size chart shows the theoretical location where a dot of adhesive, ejected from a nozzle at a specific angle and distance will meet the substrate. It assumes the adhesive travels in a straight line. |
